Looking for a Group – Tony Nolan

Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire. UK.

My name is Tony Nolan. I am a freelance ministry development and adult formation consultant working with several Diocese in the South of England. I have completed postgraduate training in both consultative supervision and conflict resolution as well as professional training in Mindful based supervision (UKCP). group facilitation, and workplace
mediation.

I have been involved in supervision since 2005. My training exposed me to a
number of models, however, the seven eyed model (Hawkins & Shohet), cyclical model (Page & Wosket) and three-step model (van Ooijen) form the backbone of my supervisory practice. I am also a trainer for pastoral supervision and reflective practice.

For many years I have found myself working alone and sometimes facing opposition when promoting the value of supervision for those in ministry. I am always in search of opportunities to engage in a wider conversation about supervision with practitioners from other disciplines and be part of a diverse community of practice.
